About Naija Score
Naija Score is a football information site for readers in Nigeria: results, league tables, probability-based predictions and plain-English guides to betting.
Who runs the site
Naija Score is run by the Naija Score team, an independent information site. We do not list individual authors or staff credentials on the site, and we will not claim any we cannot show. If you want to reach us, use the contact page.
What the site does
- Results and tables for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), the Premier League, La Liga and the Champions League, with match data from API-Football.
- Football predictions shown as probabilities, each with its result once the match is over. How they are made is on How we predict.
- A betting-site comparison scored on four fixed criteria, explained on the editorial policy page, and guides on odds, booking codes and funding an account.
Where the data stands today
The match data on the site today is historical: the Nigerian league table and results are from 2022–23, and the European leagues from 2023–24. The predictions you see are a backtest on those past matches, not a record of picks published before kick-off. Live scores and daily picks return when live data is switched on, and we will say so on the page when that happens.
What Naija Score does not do
- We do not take bets, hold money for anyone or run a betting account.
- We do not hold a betting licence and we are not a bookmaker.
- We do not sell tips and do not promise sure wins. No prediction, ours or anyone else's, can guarantee a result.
Some links on the site go to betting sites. They are marked “Ad”. Today we earn no commission from them; if that changes, the page and the links will say so, and it will never change a score or a pick.
Who the site is for
Adults aged 18 and over. Betting is regulated by each state in Nigeria (and by the National Lottery Regulatory Commission in the FCT): bet only with operators licensed where you live. Read our responsible gambling page, our terms and our privacy policy.
