How we score betting sites, how the site pays for itself, and what we do when we get something wrong.

How we score betting sites

Every bookmaker on our ranking is scored out of five on the same four criteria. Each criterion has a fixed weight, so no bookmaker can buy a better position:

• Local deposit methods (25%). Bank transfer, USSD, OPay, Moniepoint and PalmPay funding.
• Withdrawal speed (30%). How fast verified accounts get paid to a Nigerian bank or wallet.
• Light Android app (25%). App or lite site that works on a basic phone and a small data plan.
• NPFL markets (20%). Coverage of the Nigerian league and local cups.

The final score is the weighted average, rounded to one decimal place. The scores are editorial judgements based on each bookmaker's official site and public information as of 2026-10-27. We have not opened a funded account for these reviews, and we say so.

Welcome bonuses are not part of the score. We print a bonus only when the official site states it on the day we check, with the date and source. A bookmaker's licence status is not something we certify: check the regulator's register for your state before you deposit.

How Naija Score earns money

Today, we don't earn commission from these links yet. Links to betting sites are marked “Ad” and carry a sponsored label, and they open the bookmaker's official site. If we sign an affiliate agreement, this page, the footer and the links will say so, and payment will never change a score, a ranking or a pick. A bookmaker cannot pay to be listed higher, reviewed more kindly or left out of a comparison.

How we write predictions

Predictions are probabilities from a stated method, described on How we predict. Once a pick is published we do not edit or remove it; the result is added after full time, and losses are counted like wins. Percentages on the site come with the number of picks behind them.

How we correct errors

1. Tell us what is wrong and where, through the contact page.
2. We check it against the source: the bookmaker's official site, the match data or the regulator.
3. If we were wrong, we fix the page and, for a material change, note the change and the date on it.

We aim to reply within 30 days.
